Sarkasmus, Romanze, Spannung und jede Menge Humor. Wenn ich lese schmunzel oder grinse ich höchstens, aber bei diesem Buch kam mir der ein oder andere Lacher über die Lippen. Gleichzeitig hat das Buch eine so spannende Handlung und ich möchte so gerne das nächste Buch dazu lesen. Es erwarten mich noch so viele Traumata, so viel Healing für die Protagonisten und gleichzeitig so viel Schmerz und Verlust.

An excellent thrilling book. What was amazing in my opinion was the beginning. I'm usually not the biggest fan of the 100-200 pages of world building but this book was different. It started into action right away without a boring introduction. The two main characters had beautiful characters which leads to a nice flirty but also provoking atmosphere around them. The magical system and the were well written and even with the direkt start easy to process and understand. It's a textbook like enemy's to lovers book with spicy written hot scenes. They're flirting behavior and quite a few intimate moment until they're confession kept me squirming in anticipation for them. Writing style, characters, world building...peace of art. 5/5

why did it take me so long to pick this up? it’s phenomenal! I’m in love with Cat and Griffin. The vibes are immaculate, I was giggling and grinning like an idiot the entire book. The banter is just too good. And the world building? The plot? God I can’t wait to read the rest of the series, I feel like I have only dipped my toe into the water, when it comes to the entire world. The ancient greek world and greek gods? The magic? The politics? Hell yes, I’m all board. This has potential - potential to gain a spot among my favorite fantasy series. It’s got romance, interesting unique plot and great characters! 5

Toller Auftakt für die Reihe! Cat und Griffin haben eine tolle Dynamik und es macht wirklich Spaß den beiden dabei zuzusehen wie sie sich gegenseitig und ihre eigenen Gefühle bekämpfen! Die Geschichte ist auch abgesehen von der Romance wirklich toll gelungen und bleibt weiter spannend, auch wenn man sich vorstellen kann wie es weiter gehen wird. Es war keine Sekunde langweilig und ich freu mich darauf die Fortsetzung zu lesen. Romance, Götter, Magie und found family zum verlieben 🌶️⚔️✨❤️

4.5. but only probably because I read the Folk of the Air before and this was a bit more Insta-lovish. But the banter and newfound family + the secret she has (and I think I know what it is) was reaaally great. It also got a little repetitive at some point. And I do like plot-twists which is why the ending for me was a bit dull. But I can just start the 2nd book!!!
