DNF @29% At first, it was a soft DNF because I wasn't in the right headspace to fully appreciate it. But as time passed, I felt even more disconnected and I felt the pressure to actually finish it but in the end I decided to hard DNF. I enjoyed the first book but my biggest issue with it was the pacing. I felt like it was too slow for my taste. The romance was actually really good and the ending made me want to know what happens next. Unfortunately, like the first book, I found the rhythm pretty boring. Nothing very impactful happened even though its supposed to. When I tried to read it again, I felt very confused and weirdly not caring. As much as I love the romance between our main characters, I felt like it wasn't enough for me to continue reading. Please don't let this deter you from reading this book. Just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean it won't be for you ❤
