So...this was published in 2018. Just let that sink in, in the light of current events. This is still such an issue, and such an important story to tell, but I found the execution a bit lacking. It's obvious that this is a debut. It could have been stronger if it were more edited. But daaang that cover is gorgeous. More soft BIPOC boys pls!
