Ich tue mich wirklich sehr, sehr schwer damit dieses Buch zu bewerten. Ich wollte es wirklich mögen, da mich bis jetzt alles der Autorin überzeugen konnte. Leider ist der Funke einfach gar nicht übergesprungen. Nichtsdestotrotz werde ich mich sogleich Band 2 widmen.
Another wonderful gaggle of new main characters by Carriger, and they are so much fun already. I can't wait to watch them grow more. Also giggled and laughed out loud at the reappearance of Mr Featherstone-thingy. Rue and Prim are a delightfully different combo than their Mothers, but their dynamic is truly enjoyable in their own right. As are the other relationships in this universe, but it is just wonderful to see a friendship between young women displayed in an honest but becoming way.
Rue ist ihrer Mutter in manchen Dingen ähnlicher, als sie selbst denkt. Zusammen mit ihren Freunden und Freundinnen mischt sie die supernatural society ganz schön auf. Ebenso wie das Parasol Protectorate eines meiner persönlichen Highlights ❤️
