* 1.5 stars I was honestly really excited for this because I loved Taste. That book was funny and just a really good read, so I had high hopes for this one. Sadly, this one wasn't as good as Taste. It wasn’t even that it was bad, it was just not interesting. I mostly read a few chapters in the morning on my way to work, but I never felt like picking it up otherwise. And once I put it down, I didn’t really think about it again. Also, it just wasn’t as funny as Taste. I don’t even know if he was trying to be funny this time, but a lot of it didn’t land for me. One thing that really stood out was how he kept implying that his wife might be cheating on him whenever she said she was going on a “business trip” like… why the quotation marks?? It just felt odd and kind of unnecessary. Overall, pretty disappointing. but it counted towards my reading goal so yay!
