I have wanted to read something of Smith for a while now. And this was a perfect entry to get a taste of her writing style. While I wasn't a huge fan of every single essay, I still managed to fall in love with her voice. Great reflections paired with lyrical prose. What more can a girl want? Still can't believe that Covid started 5 years ago. It's a unique experience to read about its beginnings again.
