a nice introduction to predictive processing. maybe because it’s a relatively new field of study- the information provided or the way of writing felt oddly optimistic and sometimes speculative. I’m most interested in the effects of placebos described in this book; i find it quite fascinating to read about. All in all, a good book for those seeking a more modern understanding of the brain (although at some points quite repetitive).
