This is the first book with a real danger to one of the protagonists, that was really quite something. Although the story is mostly centered about Halt's recovery it is still interesting. I am not entirely happy with the ending, wouldn't be surprised, when Tennyson is still alive, but I hope in the last book is a more promising villain.
