It didn't catch me at all. I mean it was very thoughtfully written and there were a lot of details in the sentences - with many rhymes but I didn't like the story felling with the authors constant remarks and interruptions. I know that it is supposed to be like that, but that was just the style I didn't like.
After finding out one of my favorite movies was originally a book, this was a must read.
After having seen the movie directed by Rob Reiner so many times, I practically knew all the lines by heart, which made reading the book that much more interesting to read. It was so satisfying to see those lines from the book being used in the film. Of course based on the book, there are many parts of S. Morgensterns story that are cut out and it was interesting to read the original story. Anyone who is a fan of Westley and Buttercup’s love story must read this. (Though the film will always be my favorite.)
