It's athriller, its a mystery, it's sweet romance. Concise chapters alternating between past and present with a dual POV plus a mysterious third one reveal a story full of family drama, lies and deceit. The synopsis in the beginning doesn't tell you a lot about the story, but definitely peeked my interest. The plot is complex and I love the misdirected text trope. I would have read it in one sitting if I could.

Intriguing and interesting, with a good twist. More a romance suspense mystery tho. The pacing in the middle was a bit slow, but I got invested in the characters. I figured out the „villain“ pretty quickly but enjoyed how it played out nonetheless! And the premise with the text is pretty unique.

„It was magic. Three month of magic. And even knowing what I know now, I’d jump off the same cliff a second time. No question.“
