Uhh fun! So I personally really liked this one The story is about a wedding that is held on this island, that is kinda known for being abandoned. There are some guests that are more „special“ since they get to stay on the island one night before the wedding. They are our suspects on this mystery. But what is the mystery, you ask? Well we actually don’t know until the end. Though I have to say I knew before (probably has been spoiled for me through a YouTube video or something, I thought we were supposed to know). Anyway, every guest has, of course, secrets that get revealed and make them more suspicious. Also with the upcoming storm, they cannot leave the island and the situation gets more heated. Ok now personal things: -I guessed every single secret of our potential „bad“ people -I (almost) guessed the „bad“ person. And I am still mad about swaying away from this person, since Lucy Foley didn’t include this POV as much towards the end anymore, so I kinda forgot. Oh well. -I liked the switch between Now and some hours before, keeps you going so much So I would highly recommend giving this one a go, but please don’t be disappointed when you guess the secrets and motives, cause they are (in my opinion) kinda easy.

Foley's Meisterleistung! 📚

“I have raised hell”

This is the second book I’ve read by the author and just like in the first book I loved the many different POVs, the small hints throughout the book and the secrets slowly unfolding. The whole time I was puzzling over who was the victim, who was the murderer and above all - why? Definitely recommend!

Well, I‘m not a thriller girly. I thought this was entertaining as an audio book and I liked the differently POVs and how it all tied together in the end. But the end was kinda meh, I expected more of it to be honest. An decent audiobook fitting to an cold windy autumn day. I loved the different accents and speakers!!!
