Characters 5 ⭐, Story 1.5 ⭐, Shadow Me 4⭐
It took me 4 books to not hate Warner anymore. I still don't really see why a lot of people like him but getting his perspective helped me a lot to understand him and his actions better. Sadly characters other then Juliette and Warner didn't get much "screen"time. Otherwise I really enjoyed the character development. But overall my biggest complaint is that this book didn't have much plot and was developing very slow. We only get this looming threat and a conflict between the mc's for 400 pages and then the book stars when it's actually over. Nevertheless I'm still interested in reading the next book in the series, especially because Shadow Me got me again with showing the last scenes from Kenjis perspective.
