if i could, i'd give this book 10 stars. or 20. or more. This was a new beginning. skulduggery pleasant season 2. my dream come true. new, hilarious characters (and villans), beloved old ones, a complex plot and an end which keeps me excited for the next book. also, i really missed some old characters which didn't appear in the book so i hope we will see them next time.

Do I need to mention that this one makes no exception? No. Too bad. I'm doing it anyway. IT WAS GREAT AND I FRIGGING LOVED IT. Do you know these series in which the protagonist goes through one traumatic event after another and his/her psyche doesn't even get a scratch? This is not one of these. I love that Landy shows how much of a toll all these previous adventures have taken on Valkyrie especially. I like the new characters (I love Never, she/he does not get enough attention here!) and the arc with the Neoterics is really interesting, there's really a lot potential here for future characters. I can't wait to see where Landy is taking us next.
