Description
Virgin River became a safe haven for Sacramento prosecutor Brie Sheridan after she nearly lost her life at the hands of a violent criminal. Though tough and courageous, she has some fears she can't escape.
LAPD officer Mike Valenzuela was badly wounded in the line of duty. When he agrees to become Virgin River's first cop, he does so knowing it's time he settled down. Twice divorced and the lover of too many women, he secretly longs for the kind of commitment and happiness his marine buddies have found—a woman who can tie up his heart forever.
Mike will do anything to help Brie free herself from painful memories. Passionate, strong and gentle, he vows to give back to her what she's so selflessly given him—her heart, and with it, a new beginning.
Don't miss Robyn Carr's next uplifting novel, The Friendship Club, wherefour women come together at a tumultuous time in their lives, forging an unbreakable bond that will leave them all forever changed—available January 2024!

It has been forever since my last time in Virgin River and since I needed a comfort read it was great too return to this little town. I enjoyed the previous books in the series and even though I expected every book to center another couple, it is great to read about all the other inhabitants and previous couples as well. By now I would say that the Virgin River series is a bookish soap opera, and I mean this absolutely positive. I love the little town and every single character as well as the things happening there. I can always rely to feel comfortable in the books. Robyn Carr has an enjoyable writing style which makes you feel right at home in Virgin River.
