Wherever You Go, There You Are: Mindfulness meditation for everyday life:
Mindfulness is considered the heart of Buddhist meditation. But its essence is universal and of deep practical benefit to everyone. In Wherever You Go, There You Are, Jon Kabat-Zinn maps out a simple path for cultivating mindfulness in our lives, and awakening us to the unique beauty and possibilities of each present moment.Since its first publication in 1994 (as Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners), this book has changed lived across the globe. This tenth anniversary edition of the original classic text, featuring a new afterword by the author, brings this wonderful book with an even larger audience.
Mindfulness Finding Peace in a Frantic World:
MINDFULNESS reveals a set of simple yet powerful practices that can be incorporated into daily life to help break the cycle of unhappiness, stress, anxiety and mental exhaustion and promote genuine joie de vivre. It's the kind of happiness that gets into your bones. It seeps into everything you do and helps you meet the worst that life can throw at you with new courage. The book is based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).

Great read for anyone who wants to learn about mindfulness
I came in contact with Kabat-Zinn‘s work about 10 years ago during an MBSR workshop at university. I’ve already started meditating prior to that, touched upon yoga, PMR and autogenic training, some of which I’ve been practicing to this day. No matter how much I’ve read and learnt about meditation and mindfulness, reading Kabat-Zinn‘s work was eye-opening. I’ve listened to the audiobook version which he reads himself in a very quiet, soothing voice. The book is interspersed with mindfulness exercises and full of his wisdom and compassion without imposing himself. This book is a must read for anyone with an interest in mindfulness no matter where they are in their journey!
