Das Buch Winternacht war für mich ein typisches, zusätzliches Zwischenbuch, das man lesen kann aber nicht muss für die generelle Haupthandlung der Reihe. Trotzdem war es schön zu sehen, wie Trez nach Selenas Verlust wieder zu sich gefunden hat und er von seiner negativen Existenz weggekommen ist. Leider hat sich aber außer der Liebesbeziehung zwischen den beiden nichts in der gesamten Handlung getan und daher war es auch wesentlich kürzer und nicht so spannend wie sonst. Dennoch ein netter Teil, den man als Fan der Reihe trotzdem mögen wird.
