I’m not sure if you are actually able to spoil anything of this play. Spoiler warning anyway ^^<spoiler> The main theme of this play is waiting for an important, supposedly life changing event, which however will never happen. So basically this play is about nothing and ridicules our expecations concerning plot, characters, setting etc. The structure of the play, the dialogue and events all follow the idea of repetion. Dialogue has no logical coherence and often there’s a discrepancy between communication and action. So, while many might find the absence of meaning and the general repetion of this play frustrating (and there is definitely a point to it!), I was quite intrigued by it and found some humor in the senselessness. Also it was interesting to read a play that steadfastly refuses to establish porpuse and order as i study literature at university and always search for meaning ^^ <spoiler>
