Vandal (Ashes & Embers, Band 2)

We are only humans and we all make mistakes. But still, everyone deserves to be loved. This story has raw emotions, pain, love, beauty, ugliness, forgiveness, seduction, grief, and hope mixed all together. And all of this leaves a perfect aftertaste for a long time after reading. This book is like Vandal himself - it made me feel everything. Truly loved it.

3,5 stars first of all: this was definitely better than Storm! Her writing improved so much and even her characters didn’t lack depth this time! sooo don’t get me wrong cuz i really liked this book but everything went too damn fast. and i really mean everything. so you are grieving your dead husband at the cemetery and a strange big dark guy comes and tells u to hop on his motorcycle to his home and you not only go with him.. no u also fuck him. and the next day he already tells you his rules and how u’ll stay with him and all the BDSM stuff? and you’re fine? with it? alright? aLrIgHT ig. i had a love hate relationship with Vandal. although hot, he was a terrible dom and very egoistical and tabitha was sometimes too shallow. i couldn’t understand some of her actions (literally all of the above) but yolo ig. there were many moments i’d sympathize and feel for Vandal. he’d made me very emotional. “All I have is the truth, but it’s not good enough. It was a mistake. One that I’m going to have to live with forever.” anyways i still enjoyed it pretty much and it made me very emotional at some parts (especially vandal’s parts) so if u like dark romance and BDSM u won’t regret this one. omw to book 3
