Ignite me
First of all, I am always completely mind-blown by how poetic her writing style is. I’ve genuinely never read anything like it before, and I can’t even fully express how much I love it. There’s something so unique and immersive about the way she writes. Because of her incredible writing, I also found it surprisingly easy to slip back into the story, even after years of having read the first book, Shatter Me. I absolutely loved returning to this world and seeing how everything continues to develop. There are definitely some major twists, which kept things exciting, but at the same time, I kind of feel like not as much actually happened compared to book one. And then there’s Warner… I honestly don’t know what to think about him yet. Don’t get me wrong, every time this man opens his mouth, I get goosebumps. But I still don’t fully understand him, and I’m really curious (and excited) to see how his storyline develops moving forward.
