Ganz viel Liebe, Achtsamkeit und Respekt 🤍
Ich bin jedes Mal aufs Neue geflasht davon wie viel Respekt und Ehrlichkeit Blake Black in ihre Bücher packt. Es werden keine unschönen Details ausgelassen. Als Frau eine Beziehung mit mehreren Männern zu führen wirft Fragen, Sorgen und Ängste auf. Und die werden in ihren Büchern nicht unter den Teppich gekehrt. Auch der respektvolle Umgang miteinander steht bei ihren Büchern im Vordergrund. Ja ihre Protagonisten machen genauso Fehler, sie werden aber reflektiert und nicht ignoriert. Viele wichtige Themen finden sich in dieser Dilogie wieder. Der 2. Band heilt die Wunden von Band 1 und ich hatte zum Ende hin dauerhaft Tränen in den Augen, es gab auch viele Gänsehaut Momente. Die vier haben mich sehr berührt und werden mich noch lange beschäftigen. Ich wollte nicht dass es endet, wollte den Abschied hinauszögern aber gleichzeitig wollte ich wissen wie deren Geschichte weitergeht. Ob sie ihren Frieden finden und das Ende bekommen, welches sie verdient haben. Ganz große Empfehlung! Das war meine 4. Dilogie von ihr und kein Buch hat mich bisher enttäuscht.
So good, could have done without the Spice
This one is the second part of the Why choose Downhill Racing Duett. First of all: I liked how the characters are written. All of them. From the FMC over the MMCs to the sidekicks to their enemies. Everyone Was unique and easy to remember even with quite a few characters in this second book. I didnt give this book 5 Stars because: - i think the spice took away from the pacing and Storytelling instead of Adding to it. Sure, showing intimacy with the guys is part of the growing relationship, especially the two guys experimenting, however I could have done with about 30% of the explicit scenes. - Part of the above Problem but worth mentioning separately i felt like the pacing was off. With one guy groveling and others having fun in the bedroom i always wondered when would the next race happen. - Lastly: Where was my Baby Toulouse in this book??? Otherwise a good read with an interesting revenge Plot, Amazing Characters and a great ending.
