Ich bin tatsächlich von diesem Buch etwas enttäuscht. Nachdem ich die ersten beiden Bände binnen 5 Tagen verschluckt hatte, hatte ich hohe Erwartungen für den letzten und „finalen“ Band der ersten Trilogie. Leider hat sich dieses Buch stellenweise deutlich gezogen. Die Kämpfe wurden eher beschrieben und in Retrospektive beschrieben als tatsächlich auf der Seite zu passieren. Persönlich bin ich auch kein Fan von pregnancy tropes, weil der main character in den Hintergrund fällt. In diesem Buch war es nicht so schlimm wie befürchtet, allerdings hat man es trotzdem etwas gemerkt. Das spicy Level war allerdings nochmal deutlich höher und deutlich mehr auch unter den Herren und weniger nur Charlie und X, was aus ausgesprochen gut gefallen hat. Insgesamt zwar ein gelungenes Ende der Serie, aber ein eher durchschnittliches Buch im Gesamtvergleich.
his series started really good and I couldn't wait to read the next book but in my opinion every book was a little bis worse than the book before. I don't like their relationship and how the demons treated Charlie. They never really saw her as an equal and often decided things over her head. <spoiler>If she wants to know if she's pregnant even with the risk of losing it and being sad, isn't that her right? Why can they just decide to keep this from her.</spoiler> I also feel like that gray got more possessive and less cooperative the more the series progressed. That he thinks about the children as his children and not their children is a huge red flag. Sometime they speak about his unwillingness to see Charlie in an equal relationship with each of them and not all has to go through gray but that is never really resolved.
