Während eine junge Frau im Japan der 1950er-Jahre gegen Tradition und Vorurteile kämpft, sucht eine andere in der Gegenwart nach den Spuren ihres Vaters und stößt auf eine Geschichte, die alles verändert. Ein leises, schmerzhaftes und starkes Buch. Manche Gefühle waren mir zu direkt erzählt, aber die Botschaft, die Tiefe und das Thema haben mich nicht mehr losgelassen. Ich habe mitgelitten, gehofft und manchmal auch geweint. 💔
