Great sequel! Cooper and Park are such a good pairing and once again the mystery part was really good. I enjoyed the characters growth, their banter and seeing their relationship grow.
“The only mystery I want to work on right now is the mystery of Agent Park, in the motel room” “Sometimes letting people get to know more about you didn’t bring you closer, it just gave them more reasons to want to walk away.” “I don’t need you, Cooper repeated, whispering into Parks sweaty hair. But I want you all the time.”
This was good. I liked how Cooper, this precious porcupine, gradually opened up to his family and to Park as well. But figuring out how the murderer was wasn't that hard. To me, this book was more about family and relationship dynamics. Merged review: This was good. I liked how Cooper, this precious porcupine, gradually opened up to his family and to Park as well. But figuring out how the murderer was wasn't that hard. To me, this book was more about family and relationship dynamics.
