"Magick is not supernatural; it's simply how the universe works. Sometimes we can explain the magick, such as a seed becoming a seedling and rising up from the ground, but it's still magickal. Just because something can be explained doesn't make it any less magickal." As someone who's had little to no contact to magick and spellcraft, this book really made me want to get more into it and try out some spel.ls on my own. Even for amateurs, this is very comprehensively written and, despite being a non-fiction book, reads as engagingly as a novel. The authors discuss the basic rules of spellwork as well as getting into differend methods and tools such as candles, crystals, herbs or incense. I'm pretty sure I'll buy this as a beginner's guide to start practicing myself.
