Hab mich hier gut durchkämpfen müssen und war kurz davor schon nach 30 Seiten abzubrechen, weil klar war, dass keinerlei Recherche in das Buch geflossen ist. Woher ich das weiß? Die Leute im Mittelalterlichen England reden hier über Kartoffeln - die zu dem Zeitpunkt in Europa noch unbekannt waren. Das gesamte Buch wirkt einfach nur wie eine Fancfiction, die entstanden ist, nachdem man die Serie Vikings gesehen hat. Die Namen passen nicht zur Epoche, die Autorin hat keinerlei Ahnung wie die Kleidung damals aussah ... Wenn man historische Romane schreiben möchte, sollte man vielleicht bisschen Recherche rein stecken. Zusätzlich fand ich die Love Story schrecklich. Erwachsener Wikinger verliebt sich in minderjährige Englische Prinzessin, sie sich in ihn und er weiß, dass er sie bekommt, weils ihm mehre Sehrrinnen vorhersagen - selten so gelangweilt.
