Nice and quick read, but nothing really new or special
This book was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Sometimes it really made me laugh and now and then I felt touched or surprised by how much I could relate. I especially liked the parts about friendships — how close friends can drift apart — and the sections about family. Those felt real and meaningful. But other parts didn’t work so well for me. A lot of the book felt a bit too superficial and not deep enough, especially when it came to bigger topics like mental health or work and imbalance or abuse of power. The love and dating parts were kind of boring for me and felt like I’d read or heard the same things before. Some chapters just didn’t feel relatable at all — but maybe that’s just me. Sometimes, it also felt more like a script than a finished book. Like it was made quickly to go along with their podcast and they didn’t fully think it through as a book on its own. Still, I’m glad I read it. Some parts really stayed with me, even if the whole book didn’t totally work for me.
