Ich bin wirklich von dem Konzept und der Welt beeindruckt, in der sich die Handlung dieses Buches abspielt. Allerdings wartet man vergeblich auf den Plot und erst ab ungefähr Seite 250 wird es spannend. Leider sind einige inhaltliche Punkte 1 zu 1 genau wie im ersten Teil, sodass es vorhersehbar und eventuell auch ein wenig überflüssig war. Trotzdem lohnt sich das Lesen
Das ist nicht morally grey - das ist schwarz, dunkel und tief.
Das war mit Abstand die krasseste Dark Romance Geschichte, die ich je gelesen habe. Zuerst einmal. Elli verdient einfach alles auf dieser Welt. Es kam ein Twist nach dem anderen, so viel scheiße, die passiert ist, so viele Intrigen und Lügen. Es ist sehr viel Sex. Und auch in einem Detail, mit einer Fantasy, die ich wirklich noch nie gelesen habe. Lesen auf eigene Gefahr. Der Plot ist, für eine Dark Romance, sehr gut. Nichts vorhersehbar oder langweilig. Sehr spannend, auch wenn es morally black ist. Be aware!
Its missing… so much
Listen, I get the idea of the book, I really do. But so much throws me off. It feels like a couple pages are missing, and important parts of the story are left out. And also, it feels like the author did not do follow some usual behaviour patterns - simply for storyline purposes. It just makes the whole book feel whack and frankly, at this point its just a forced read just to not DNF it. And thats unfortunate; because the base idea is good.
