Aber auch wenn ich mir das nicht vorstellen konnte, fand ich die Geschichte, die Politik, die Traditionen und die Schönheit Bulgariens faszinierend. Die Zeiten, die ich im Auto verbracht habe, waren zwar etwas eintönig, aber der Rest von Kostovas Schreibstil war wunderbar und zeigt ihre Liebe zu Bulgarien. Stoyans Geschichte war sehr berührend, da wir lesen, wie er mental mit einer schrecklichen Situation zurechtkommt. Ich werde dieses Buch nicht vergessen, weil Stoyans Erinnerungen so gut geschrieben sind. 3,5 Sterne.
