The breathtaking sequel to Sarah Henning's The Princess Will Save You--a brilliantly-executed YA fantasy homage to The Princess Bride

KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE CROWN…

After a thousand years of political stability, the realm of The Sand and Sky is up for grabs. Four kingdoms, four rulers vying for the ultimate prize, sovereignty over the entire continent: A ruthless old king spinning webs, whose schemes encompass generations. A widowed queen whose only credo is all kings must die. A runaway queen whose unexpected return upends everyone’s plans. And a prince-in-waiting determined to wait no more.

Standing against them are a dispossessed princess and her stable boy love with a surprising claim of his own. Their only hope in the face of unspeakable betrayals, enemies hidden in the shadows, and insurmountable odds is the power of true love...

Praise for The Princess Will Save You

“Full of inconceivable wit, daring adventure, and cunning political machinations…It’s as if Sarah Henning looked into my soul that yearned for a book like The Princess Bride and said―as you wish. And yes, this is a kissing book.”―Ashley Poston, author of Heart of Iron

“A breakneck fantasy adventure…. Swoony romance, sword fights, a great cast of characters and some clever parallels to a story about another princess who won’t be made a bride makes The Princess Will Save You a strong contender for my favorite novel of the year.”―Emily Hall Schroen, Main Street Books, St. Charles, Missouri

Uff what a mess.... Alright hear me out. I was not quite sure how this book will be, but by the end it was amazing. It was a rollercoaster of pace, faceslaps and "get your shit together" I did not fell for the story firsthand. The first book was ok but nothing more. By the end I wanted to know how the story between Luca and Ama is getting along. This was the reason I opted for the eBook version (although the book cover *chefs kiss*). And booooiiiiii.... It doesn't disappoint. First of all, the first chapters were boring. Literally boring. Really boring. Nothing really happened besides the betrayal of her mother and locked up in the tower. After the escape the pace of the story slowly started. And by the end... I really liked it. Finally all comes together. With a lot aha moments. And spoiler.... The epilogue says all. Guess who is coming back. So the third book will be about still the runaway queen, awake from the dead Renard and Ama and Luca? Oh my.... This will be a mess. After all this was a good book but nothing more. Will I buy the 3rd one? I think so... Because of the story... Actually I want to know what will happen. In comparison the 2nd book was better then the first. But still... There is something what I getting not along. 3.5 stars because of the slow pace till the last third of the book and the last 5 chapters.
