The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water is a very short novel, that is in itself very enjoyable. Even with such little pages, the characters felt quite real to me. The beginning really pulled me in, but sadly around the half point, I lost a little bit of interest. I expected the story to have more adventure in it, but it was really mostly about the dynamics in the group, especially between two characters and I didn't really feel a lot about that. The ending also felt a bit rushed and out of context to me. Overall it was nice to dip my toes into a different genre for one and the writing is beautiful. I would still recommend this to anyone who is interested in trying out the genre or a quick read.
