Description

The thrilling finale to the New York Times bestselling Young Elites series from “hit factory” Marie Lu

There was once a time when darkness shrouded the world, and the darkness had a queen.

Adelina Amouteru is done suffering. She’s turned her back on those who have betrayed her and achieved the ultimate revenge: victory. Her reign as the White Wolf has been a triumphant one, but with each conquest her cruelty only grows. The darkness within her has begun to spiral out of control, threatening to destroy all she's gained.

When a new danger appears, Adelina’s forced to revisit old wounds, putting not only herself at risk, but every Elite. In order to preserve her empire, Adelina and her Roses must join the Daggers on a perilous quest—though this uneasy alliance may prove to be the real danger.

#1 New York Times bestselling author Marie Lu concludes Adelina's story with this haunting and hypnotizing final installment to the Young Elites series.

That was an ending I did not expect. But it was beautiful nonetheless.

When she appears on the other side of the world, I will be there, and when she returns here, so will I. Original de: El Blog del Gato - El Extraño Gato del Cuento Qué cerebro. Even though I had a feeling that the ending will be like I imagined and it was kind of predictable, it also was perfect for the book series and I enjoyed it a lot. I think the book was amazing. It was weaker than both its predecessors but still it was a great book. If I'm honest 4 stars would be more fitting but the ending was so emotional for me and I feel extremely invested in Adelina, Magiano and Violetta that I don't care and that's why I give this book 5 stars. It was a phenomenal book series and it is by far one of my favourites. Marie Lu is an impressive author and I'm beyond sure that her upcoming works will be amazing as well!

Don't mind me, I'm just crying my eyes out

Well, it was good, but just not as good as the other books... Adelina suddenly became a weak character, and her death felt really insignificant, like it was supposed to be something important, what happended with her in the end, and instead of going with a bang, she just went away silently... I also didn't like the end (not the "tale" of the White Wolf, but the parts before that), and I think that the book was too short, it was the thinnest of all three, so it felt a bit rushed

This book was long on my list, because I was so devastated by the ending of the second book. I couldn’t make my self read this one. But I am glad I did. That’s all I have to say :)

Thank you for giving me that ending. I remember sniffles my way all the through book 2 and 3, just hoping for some sort of closure. And I finally found it. So thank you for that, Marie Lu.
