„The Memory Thief“ is part one of a new fantasy series by Rachel Morgan which will be released in several episodes and each episode is the length of 100 pages more or less. First of all, I really loved Rachel’s unique take on a Cinderella retelling- especially her creativity with magic systems impresses me every time again! Our main character, Elle, was a very likeable character and I really enjoyed her story line so far! The only thing I disliked about this book was the short length of it and that I couldn’t bond/ connect as much with the characters as I usually would but I think this will change as soon as we see more of this world. I also felt like at some point the book was a bit rushed but that could just be my fault as well because of reading it in one sitting. Over all, I really enjoyed this first installment and I’m looking forward to the next episode!
