Also “The Lady of the Lake” war ein unterhaltsamer Read, aber ich bin noch etwas unentschlossen. Ich mochte sehr wie es die Camelot sage aufgenommen hat und es hat sich recht nah an den “legenden” wenn Manns so nennen kann orientiert, aber ich muss sagen stellenweise hat es sich schon ein klein wenig wie eine Self-Insert-Fanfiction zu Arthur-Merlin-Morgana Konstellation gelesen. Die Hauptprota hatte etwas mehr Potenzial als ausgeschöpft wurde, auch mit ihrer abstammung und Vorgeschichte. Und mir ist einfach zwischen den “großen” Ereignissen zu wenig passiert, mir hat etwas von den filler-text der üblich ist gefehlt, ich hätte cool gefunden etwas mehr vom Alltag mitzukriegen, also mehr Zeit mit den Charakteren außerhalb der einzelnen Ereignisse zu haben irgendwie. Mir war auch die Darstellung von Morgana hier stellenweise etwas ungreifbar aber das mag daran liegen dass ich ein sehr festgefahrenes Bild von ihr habe an dem sich nichts rütteln lässt. Sie war alles in allem dennoch die Morgana die man kennt und liebt. Wer aber die Sage der Lady of the Lake erwartet, darf die Erwartungen etwas runterschrauben, es hat nichts mit dem Mythos der Wasserlauf zu tun die Menschen in ihre Gewässer lockt um die zu ertränken. Den Schreibstil fand ich aber sehr angenehm, das letzte Buch, das ich schneller durch hatte als das hier war Diadem XD
