The Haven, the Hallow, & the Highborn: A Roots of Magic Series Novella

I don’t even know what to say? this was just weak overall. They told us that the world was basically gonna go down but there just wasn‘t any urgency - everyone was just chilling? The only thing I liked a little was Caelum. Even though he was a total simp.

This little Novella was like a sweet afternoon tea on a sunny day. I loved the characters, the whole idea of magic and the road both characters walked. I loved the banter and Caelum truly was a lil charmer. I am forever grateful that I was chosen as an ARC reader and even more happy to be able to tell you guys how I liked it. A larger review will be on my blog once the novella is published so I don’t spoil anyone
