Was, wenn sich herausstellt, dass dein One Night Stand dein grummeliger Vermieter ist, der noch dazu nebenan wohnt? Genau! Du beginnst ihn zu Fake Daten, weil dein Ex-Freund dich stalkt. Mit dabei sind dann auch noch eine pubertierende Teenagertochter, eine 60-jährige Sex Toy Verkäuferin und eine zuckersüße Katze. Angeblich gibt es in der Kleinstadt auch einen Sheriff, über den eine Fan Fiction geschrieben wurde. Aber das steht in einem anderen Buch (das ich unbedingt noch lesen möchte). Alles in allem eine unglaublich amüsante, wenn auch in manchen Bereichen „dezent“ untealistische, Romance, die mich sehr gut unterhalten hat.
Good Book
The Grump next door by Brighton Walsh is a great book and the chemistry between Sutton and Atlas is undeniable. I really enjoyed reading it, however for me it's not a very memorable book. There's a lot of clichés going on (which isn't a bad thing, I liked it) but there was nothing special enough that stood out to me. It's one of those books that you read and then move on to the next. I loved how Laurel referred to both of them as her parents even tho Atlas is not but the way she always called him Daddy Grump made me cringe a little idk what it was about that but it was kind of weird. Overall a good and enjoyable book but for me nothing special but I appreciate the opportunity to read an arc provided by the smuthood before the release.
