The Grownup (Kindle Single)

I am still not sure about this one This is unconventional and weird and yet oddly interesting. I cant say much because it is so short - but the multiple twists made me go like .... so many twists and so little pages? WEIRD. I dont regret reading it, would I recommend it though? not sure.

This was... interesting. I don't get a lot about this story, like who it is written for and what genre it might be and how many more twists you could have squashed into the last 10 pages. If it had been a 300+ pages book I'd probably be pissed now as it started so well and turned so weird in the last third. But with it being a short story I'm inclined to say I like Flynn experimenting. Still, it's not the greatest of all short stories - 3 stars.
