This one didn’t have me in its grasp like the other books by that author did. The world building had so much potential but I feel like putting it all in one book doesn’t do it justice. There should be a whole series in this world, just so readers could understand it better. The romance plot was cute, the whole gargoyle thing kinda put me off though. And I don’t know why, but Gideon’s long hair? Really didn’t like that lol It was a good book, and I’ve gotten through it pretty fast, but it’s not my favourite.
