The Fever is an interesting and thrilling book. The story about Deenies best friend having a seizure in class and how it affects the whole student body and Deenie and her family. I really, really like the conclusion in the end. It's not far fetched but pretty realistic. But I think the exposition is way too long. And the characters don't change. They never evolve... And I think the tone of novel is a little too mature for the young adult audience.
