The Dead of Winter

When the corpse of an ex-con from New York is found in the icy waters of Blackwater Bay, Michigan, Sheriff Matt Gabriel is afraid that a media circus will descend upon the normally quiet streets of his town. But when the cause of death turns out to be a bullet to the head, Matt begins to envision dangers more menacing than a pack of questioning journalists.
