Auf Empfehlung eines bezaubernden Girl (@fenjaalexandra) hier in Reado habe ich mich an mein erstes englisches Buch seit gefühlt 15 Jahren ran gewagt. Ich kann nur sagen 👉🏻 es hat sich mehr als gelohnt 🔥. Erstmal ist die englische Sprache so Spicy 🥵 und Omg Harley Laroux heizt einem wirklich, im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes, ein. Wer es gerne heiß hat, kommt hier auf seine kosten. Zum Thema Story drumherum 😂 also ja es gibt definitiv eine Story, aber der Hauptfokus liegt natürlich auf 🔥-Teil. Ich verspreche euch, ihr werdet es nicht bereuen 🫢😮💨🫶🏻‼️
Wer es (sehr) kinky und spicy (reverse harem) mag, kommt bei dieser Novelle sehr auf seine Kosten. 😅 Es ist auf jeden Fall schnell zu lesen, mensch kommt sehr gut klar mit den Charakteren, auch wenn ich manches mal gedacht habe, dass ich sie mir älter gewünscht hätte.🫠 Es hat mich genug gereizt, um mir nun das eigentliche Duet zu kaufen und zu lesen. Ich empfehle auf jeden Fall, Dare vor den Losers zu lesen, damit man gut mitkommt.

I wanted to start with "Losers Part I", because it was suggested for reverse harem / why chose with sword crossings. Then it was suggested to start with this book first an OMG, what the hell did I read? I loved every single bit about it. This kind of humiliation or degredation was a kink I did not know I was interested in reading until now. I must look into it more in the future.

Ok. That was intense. Aaaaber: we read and don’t judge. (Jeder mag nun mal andere Dinge.) Man kann sich aber auch ungefähr denken, worauf man sich einlässt. Schließlich werden Clowns in den Triggerwarnungen mit aufgelistet. Aber nochmal: we read and don’t judge! Womit ich aber nicht gerechnet habe, war, dass auf 110 Seiten so viel Entwicklung der Charaktere stattfindet. Das Buch hat mich echt positiv überrascht.
Manchmal habe ich gute Ideen. Das hier als Hörbuch zu hören, war eine davon.

Trotz der Spannung zwischen den beiden wird immer wieder aufgegriffen, dass sie damals die Böse war und jetzt er der „Böse“ ist. Und obwohl dieses Buch nur 150 Seiten hat ist die Geschichte super detailliert. 5/5⭐️
Eine wirklich passende Beschreibung gibt es irgendwie nicht, außer: Es ist ein schriftlicher Porno, voller Praktiken und Fantasien, die sicher für den Großteil der Menschen nicht unbedingt erregend sein dürften. Aber es ist sehr fesselnd geschrieben und ich habe es verschlungen, weil ich einfach so mit den Charakteren mitfühlen konnte. Unbedingt Triggerwarnung lesen!
I was surprised that - despite the novel being only around ~150 pages - I felt very conntected to the characters. I also liked the reverse roles to the popular stereotype in bully romances (girl - is the bullied, guy - the bully). Here, Jess was the bully at school, and now Manson and his friends seek revenge. But the focus is on Manson and Jess - Mansons friends appear in the second half of the novel only (and I hope for more "screen time" with them in Losers🙌) 4/5⭐
Conocí el libro por High que hubo hace días en Bookstagram muchas personas hablaron de el y me dio curiosidad saber de que va. Yo no suelo leer este género pero sinceramente creo que entre con mucho high y eso hizo que el libro no fue tan wow como lo decían. En fin es un libro con una buena historia y con buenas escenas hot.
[3.75/5.00] Read it in one sitting, at 2am. I don't really know how much more I should be able to say, it feels like it's setting something bigger up and I enjoyed reading it. Will I remember anything? Prooobably not, hence the mid rating. Love anything Harley Laroux though, so I'm diving straight into Losers.
WHAT A KICK ASS START TO A SERIES! I don't know what I expected but I definitely did not expect to be this hooked to a series this quickly, even more from just a novella under 100 pages. It got spicy and rowdy so fast and a little unexpectedly. I, as the reader, felt like I should give these characters some personal space because the things I'm reading them doing on the base of just getting to know them does not seem so appropriate. It got so hot and heavy so quick, left me speechless throughout the last 2 parts of the book. I'm so scared to read the real plot and the troubles they're going to face, because you know what, if the story ended here, I would still be happy. I would be content.
