4.0Diese Kurzgeschichte erzählt aus Khalids Sicht wie er Shazi das erste Mal begegnet. Es sind gerade mal 9 Seiten, aber ich liebe Renee Ahdieh Schreibstil und es ist wirklich interessant aus Khalids Sicht etwas zu lesen. "A young girl who volunteered to die was an unusual girl indeed."

5.0When I found out that this novella was free on Amazon, I literally sprinted to my laptop and got it immediately. The Wrath and the Dawn was one of my most favourite books of 2015, if not of all time, and Khalid is definitely my favourite character in the series. Seeing that there is a novella from his point of view just made me super excited. And I wasn't disappointed one bit. This story was short, but fantastic. I always imagined how this whole situation would be for Khalid, and hearing all his thoughts now and seeing the things through his eyes was just PERFECT. I cannot wait for the next novella!
