Die Geschichte erzählt von der Liebe, die sich zwischen dem Zauberer Dain und der Jungfer Ceridwen entspinnt. Beiden ist es bestimmt zu lernen das mehr Magie in ihnen steckt, als sie vermuten, als sie das Tor zur Drachenwelt öffnen sollen. Der Anfang nimmt einen gefangen und die Liebesgeschichte verzaubert. Aber im Mittelteil zieht sich die Geschichte unnötig in die Länge,das Ende ist auch recht wirr. Man kommt nicht so recht dahinter, warum alle von Drachen reden, obwohl es doch um riesige Würmer geht. Aber da das nur der erste Teil ist, hege ich die Hoffnung auf ein durchdachtes Gesamtkonzept.
