Ich hab mich richtig auf das Buch gefreut und anfangs hab ich es genauso geliebt wie den ersten Teil. Leider hat mich aber Raife ab der Mitte extrem genervt. Das er Kailani ständig weggestoßen hat, war einfach nicht so meins. Und sie ist ja Mal sowas von zu gut, um wahr zu sein. Wie sie immer weiter an ihn geglaubt und festgehalten hat. Dass er dann am Ende endlich verstanden hat, dass er Kailani liebt und nicht ohne sie kann, kam mir dann doch etwas zu plötzlich. Da hätte ich mir gewünscht, dass er früher merkt, was er an ihr hat. Trotzdem war das Buch mega spannend und der Schreibstil super! Hab es sehr genossen und freue mich auf den 3. Teil 🤩
Action packed and exciting. I’m invested in the overachieving storyline, which keeps me invested. The MMC has some serious decision problems. The romance was good; she falls first, he harder vibes. No spice. Abrupt ending. Lack of character development.

I’d fallen for Raife, and even though I wanted to kill him right now, I couldn’t deny how handsome he looked, how safe he made me feel, and how much his protective blue-eyed gaze affected me.“
