Tropes: – bodyguard romance – spoiled youngest sister – age gap – secret dating – forbidden love – bd$m elements

The Bodyguard Affair was the book I was most excited for. It did disappoint me a little regarding the side plot. But regarding the romance and the chemistry between Bianca and Sam I‘m happy. Their banter is so much fun, and even though they are sometimes a little bit over the top in my opinion (especially Bianca), I don‘t regret a thing. In this one as well as the second book one of my most pressing points of critic is Bianca’s mother. The way she babies her youngest is a little bit strange in my opinion, and in this book her character is even more present than in the 2nd. However, I very much enjoyed Sams backstory, and would‘ve liked her story to take more part in the book as a whole. But what we‘ve get to know about her, made her my favorite character of the series – I‘m just a Sam fangirl 🫶 3/5⭐️ 🌶️🌶️/5
