Never have I read a "falling for your straight best friend" that gave me a stomach ache until this. This was PAINFUL. Blue is an absolute idiot to the point where I am not willing to lovingly call him a himbo. He's easy-going and superficially kind, but he has the emotional maturity and introspection of a raisin, paired with possessiveness and jealousy and I don't think that's a hot look. And then after suffering through ALL THAT the ending was just so very meh? Kelly had a great aesthetic going on, but bruv. Harmon said you have a good brain! Where did it go?!? There were select few good moments or conversations and the general set-ups for conflict/angst weren't even bad, but I didn't enjoy myself and the ending delivered a dissatisfaction-death-blow of sorts. CNs for unrequited love, miscommunication, sports injury and recovery process, allusions to homophobia (especially in professional football), disregard of boundaries, on-off/hot-cold dynamics
