Grundsätzlich war das Buch wohl in Ordnung, aber leider nicht wirklich das, was ich erwartet hatte. Es dauerte mir viel zu lange, bis die Handlung wirklich in Fahrt in kam. Auch die Figuren liessen mich leider völlig kalt. Die Sprecherin des Hörbuches versucht zwar, Emotion in die Geschichte zu integrieren, doch diese kamen nicht bei mir an. Überhaupt hatte ich mit dem Hörbuch so meine liebe Mühe. Vielleicht liegt es also auch daran, dass mich dieser Titel nicht wirklich überzeugen konnte. Aus diesen Gründen werde ich die Trilogie nicht aktiv fortsetzen, bin aber im Falle eines Falles auch nicht abgeneigt, der Reihe noch einmal eine Chance zu geben. Band zwei dann aber nicht als Hörbuch, sondern als Printversion oder Ebook. Könnte sein, dass ich dann eher warm werde mit der Geschichte.
