I must admit the thought about another collection of short stories was a small let down for me, since the overall action in this series demanded more full novels. This thought was wiped out once it started with another splendid story by [a:Abnett Dan|5738238|Abnett Dan|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png]. Included are several stories of groups and factions that haven'T got much attention so far, like Astartes Custodes, Sisters of Silence or the World Eaters. My personal biggest surprise was [a:Graham McNeill|17729|Graham McNeill|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1323638199p2/17729.jpg]'s "The last Church". Although I had a theory in the middle what is likely to happen, I really liked this story and especially it's ending.
