So, this is the end of a series I love. I have so many feelings. First of all: This book was perfect and didn't disappoint me at all. I enjoyed every single page of Oppel's writing, as always, and he even made characters likable that weren't so likable. He's such a great author. This time, Matt Cruse is going even more far up than in "Skybreaker": He's going to space! As an astronomy fan, I was really happy about this. The Matt Cruse trilogy is set in an AU, so a lot of exciting stuff can happen in space - and it does. It's a bit sad that this part is not more elaborated but well - we all want to know what happens with Matt and Kate anyway, right?! ^_- They don't have so much time together in this book, but being in space with Matt and his crew and facing the perils is exciting as well. Some parts left me breathless because I couldn't imagine what they would be coming up with next to solve their problems in space. To sum this up: I was utterly satisfied with the ending of the Matt Cruse series. I wish there were more books about Matt and Kate and their exciting adventures because I'd always join them on one of their adventorous voyages in a hearbeat. I'll miss their adventures so much...
