Description

Das Finale der YA Bücher hat mir recht gut gefallen, jedoch hat es such einfach sehr gezogen, da es dieses Mal viele PoV's gab welche mich nicht gecatcht haben. Besonders spannened fand ich wie immer die von Reath und Cohmac leider waren die beiden selten zusammen unterwegs was ich sehr schade fand. Generell wurde es zum Ende hin spannender und hat in einem coolen Kampf gegipfelt...
Ein weiteres grossartiges Buch von Daniel Jose Older. Older kann Star Wars. Punkt. Er schafft es, eine packende Handlung mit Figuren zu vereinen, die tiefgründig sind, sich selbst erst kennenlernen müssen und so über sich selbst hinauswachsen. Ruhige Szenen und actionreiche Stellen wechseln sich ab, aber beides ist hervorragend ausbalanciert. Older verpasst dem Star Wars-Universum jene Tiefe, für welche ich mich nach den Filmen dem Extended Universe zugewandt habe. Dieses Buch ist ein weiterer Beweis dafür, dass schriftstellerische Qualität und Merchandise sich nicht ausschliessen müssen.
