About the book

One early Monday morning, Shino Yuzuru runs into Seryou Touji and asks, “will you go out with me?” Seryou, who's extremely popular at school, has the odd habit of going out with anyone who asks him out first at the beginning of the week, then promptly dumps them by the end of the week. Shino, obviously, has no intention of being in a serious relationship with anyone, including Seryou. And it's not like it's actually love or anything... or is it?

Touji Seryou is rumoured to go out with whoever asks him first on Monday morning, but he will break up with them by Friday. This Monday it is Yuzuru Shino, his sendai from the archery club who asks him out. Apparently as a joke because he has relationship problems. Seryou on the other hand does not do the one-week relationship as a joke but as a trial period to see if he can fall in love with someone. Someone other than his brother's girlfriend. That was a lot cuter, and a lot more frustrating that I expected. And how did I not see the "Thursday" in the title. Where is book 2? I need to know what will happen this Friday!!!!

You know, I reeeeally don't like Takarai's Ten Count, but this one is a classic and it was the premise inspiration for Date Me, Bryson Keller, so here we are :D I am happy to report though that since this is written by Venio Tachibana and not Takarai, it is actually (at least thus far) muuuch more wholesome and insecure idiots stumbling through feelings than I feared. If you can bear the insta-love, this is sweet - since it's only two volumes, the miscommunication doesn't even pain too much!
